A girl stood by her dead brother.
Her mouth jittered. Her arms folded from the cold.
An intense spurt, then-nothing.
Was he breathing?
No,
Of course not.
We know that the boy didn’t make it.
I loosened his soul, and try to enjoy every color I see in it.
